Precision in Design: Tadek’s Structural Solutions for Offshore Cable Projects

Over the past two years, Tadek Ocean Engineering have expanded capability by delivering MWS/Class approved structural design work to a growing list of clients requiring deck equipment, over-boarding chutes and sea fastening for both offshore renewables and oil and gas vessel campaigns.

Recently the Tadek structural engineering team, led by Andrew Byrne, have been awarded a design, fabrication support and project engineering scope for cable installation works. The scope involves delivery of three heavy-duty quadrants, a chute as well as various lifting beams, to aid both the offshore scope and the landfall pull-in of wind farm export cables.

In this scope, the client and the Tadek structural design team will be supported by:

  • Tadek project engineering team (8 No. Project & Field Engineers) will support the project with RAMs and offshore support at each stage of the works.
