We had the pleasure of hosting a brilliant team of researchers from Cranfield University, led by Dr. Luofeng Huang and Dr. Burak Cerik, who are at the forefront of developing cutting-edge floating solar and wind energy systems solutions on 14th September 2024.
Their presentations covered a range of impactful topics, including:
- Optimisation of mooring systems and cable design for floating energy platforms
- Fluid-structure interaction in floating solar panels
- Experimental, numerical, and on-site testing methods used in their designs
