Education and professional background
Andrew is a Chartered Engineer with over 12 years of experience in supporting various nearshore and offshore construction projects. He has worked on major infrastructure projects, including carbon capture and new nuclear builds, through their full life cycle. Andrew has held roles such as Marine Technical Manager, Principal Methods Engineer, and Lead Engineer, contributing to projects like Sizewell C, Net Zero Teesside, and Hinkley Point C. His expertise includes methods engineering, project management, and structural and mechanical design. Andrew holds an MEng in Mechanical Engineering & Management from Exeter University (2012) and is a member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.

Memorable project
Andrew played a key role in the array package of what was, at the time, the world’s largest wind farm. He was involved from the initial bid through to contract signature, procedure development, and the offshore execution phase, culminating in a successful handover. This experience provided him invaluable insight into the full project lifecycle from an installer’s perspective, enhancing his expertise in both tendering and project execution.
Outside of work
Andrew enjoys spending time with his young family, which keeps him busy—especially with a toddler and another on the way. He has a passion for the outdoors and makes the most of his free time exploring nature, with the Lake District being a favorite destination for longer getaways.
