Hesham Hanna
Project Engineer (MEng, AMRINA)
Education and professional background
Hesham comes from a family with over 30 years in the maritime business in the Mediterranean. However, he wanted to start his own path and start a career in Engineering. He is a recent graduate from the University of Southampton, where he completed an MEng in Maritime Engineering. In between his studies he completed internships in Shipping Agencies, and Marine Surveying consultants in Libya, in order to understand the industry more, which cemented his desire in pursuing a career in Engineering.
Since completing his degree, Hesham joined Tadek as a Graduate Project Engineer, where he has gained experienced in towing and mooring procedures and creating engineering drawings for floating offshore wind turbines.
Hesham’s expertise
Hesham is proficient in 2D and 3D modelling. which enables him to create detailed drawings of various steps in a project’s lifecycle. Along with his experience in structural and computational fluid simulations, he can produce detailed documents that are specific to the clients’ requirements. Get in touch to talk to Hesham about:

Outside of work
Outside of work Hesham spends his free time playing football for a local league, which helps with his fitness and focus. He is also a big fan of motorsport and likes working on his car to fix or modify it. He occasionally likes taking it to the track or joining go kart races.
