Aleksandra Dudij

Project Engineer
MSc BSc
Education and professional background

Alex graduated from Newcastle University with a degree in Marine Technologies and has developed her expertise as a Naval Architect across the small craft and oil and gas sectors.

She began her career working on commercial boat hull optimisation, Dutch sloop design, and vessel construction. She later moved into the oil and gas industry, where she worked on a range of marine analyses and simulations.

Alex’s experience as a Naval Architect has primarily focused on the mooring design and operational analysis of large marine vessels and floating and subsea structures. This includes turret and catenary mooring design, motion, heading and seakeeping assessments, as well as offloading and air gap analyses. She also has strong experience in hydrodynamic modelling and calculations.

In addition, she has contributed to the optimisation and development of Python-based tools to assess structural strength in offshore wind platforms and calculate panel pressures on submerged components.

Alex’s expertise

Alex’s experience and technical skillset enable her to understand client requirements and deliver clear, effective solutions to complex engineering challenges. She has experience across multiple sectors and is comfortable working on a wide range of projects, from early-stage design through to detailed analysis.

Her background in both small craft and offshore systems provides a broad perspective on marine engineering, supporting her ability to contribute effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
