Education and professional background

Lauren has been a Project Engineer since 2024, following a year as a Mechanical Engineer after graduating with a BASc in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University, Canada.

Lauren has developed quickly as a Project Engineer, supporting a broad range of challenging scopes encompassing offshore support and desk-based preparation, including a French floating wind T&I scope, a Norwegian FPSO riser recovery project, and cable support works, including repairs, dredging and mattress installation.

She previously worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer, where she developed bespoke designs for deck and pipeline equipment for the offshore industry. She was responsible for all stages of project delivery, from a blank sheet of paper to a finished product.

Lauren is certified in BOSIET and GWO.

Lauren is a highly intelligent, solutions-focused Project Engineer. She calmly collaborates with her colleagues to achieve the best outcome. There is no deep end for Lauren. She has proven herself to be a resilient engineer, able to deal with a wide range of challenges. Outside of work you can find Lauren spending time with her family and friends. Having grown up in Canada, she loves spending time in the outdoors and enjoys going on canoe camping and hiking trips, skiing, and running.
